Samuel Smith's, Nut Brown Ale

Look: Nutty brown! With a small cream head.

Taste: Subtle deep, rich nut flavor with a mellow hint of barley

Conclusion: Samuel Smith is like that consistent closer you always want on your baseball team. Never flashy but always delivering the goods. I first tried this one at a lighthouse restaurant in Long Beach, CA. The nutty flavor is intoxicating and stays throughout the taste.

If you're all about relaxing and having a beer that helps you do it, try thisun! Quite the pleasant brew here that I just don't see anyone turning down once they've had a sip. It's along the lines of a Newcastle but definitely not as strong and much more refined.

8 Brews!

Not as strong as Newcastle? More refined? What sort of madness is this? I need to pick one of these babies up next time I go shopping. I love me some Newcastle, so this better deliver on the good!
