ALBA Scots Pine Ale

Look: Amber, with no head

Taste: Sweet honey flavor that catches you off guard

Conclusion: This beer was strange. When you crack the bottle open, it smells like a nice bitter ale, but when the ale hits your lips, you will be thrown off by its sweet flavor. I had mine chilled, and it moved like syrup over pancakes. Okay, warm syrup over pancakes. It has this sweet flavor, but it does not taste like sugar. It boasts a natural sweet flavor, like that of maple syrup. To be honest, this beer was too sweet for my liking. It is not quite a desert beer, but not your typical ale for sure.

This beer gets a 5 out of 10
