Alesmith, Nautical Nut Brown

Look: Mahogany, rich brown with a small, tan, cream head

Taste: Medium bodied, silky and smooth initially with bold nutty flavors and a bit of maltiness

Conclusion: While dark ales can be strong and sometimes bitter, this brew is neither. With the exception of the nutty flavors this one is light yet tasty at the same time. Not the smoothest nut ale but definitely one of the most scrumptious! The nut flavors in the brew lend it a lot of character and make it a tasty delicacy.

I had this beer with some beer battered onion rings and what a great combination they were. I love the pronounced flavors that are just the right strength. All I could do while I drank this beer was relax and take in the scenery around me. It's one of those rare beers that relaxes you and makes you feel like you're lucky to know about it. It's just you and me Nautical Nut Brown....how romantic.
