Taste: smoke and chocolate
Conclusion: The smoke and chocolate combo was really tame in this ale. Don’t get me wrong, they were present and accounted for, but I wouldn’t mind having a bit more flavor. Both the chocolate and the smoke hit you at the same time, which was strange. It was like a dark chocolate drink that had been left to burn on the stove. It had the aromas and flavors of both working in harmony.
I give it a 5 out of 10 because of he moderation in flavor.

I have tried this ale in the past and I wasn't overly impressed with it, which is a shame because they do a nice bottled cider called green goblin I think. I mainly buy my ale online from the The Drink Shop as they sell some really nice beers and there is a much better choice than what I can buy locally.
