Bear Republic, Red Rocket Ale

Look: Deep brown with a faint hint of red. Head is small and cream tan

Taste: Initially smooth and slightly chewy mouthfeel with lots of hops and a finish of sweet malts.

Conclusion: While this is supposed to be a Scottish Red Ale, it has a little twist to it. This is a fully hopped brew and so, almost makes you think you're sipping an IPA. If not for the sweet and smooth malt flavors it would be. Almost as if the two were simply mixed into a wonderfully balanced drink.

This one is definitely worth coming back to again and again. Extremely tasty and hoppy but not overly so. Aside from being an alias for dog dick, this brew has no faults I can find. Yum!
