Brewbakers, Surf City Red Ale

Look: Auburn brown with floaties and minimal tan head

Taste: Mild barley flavor with sweet undertones

Conclusion: I've only seen this beer at a local vegetarian Restaurant called Sydney's but I have one each time I go. This is a very mellow and subdued tasting brew that still has a lot of sediment in it. I actually like brews that are unfiltered. It gives you that raw, natural feeling when you're drinking it.

This was a flavorful red ale with a soft body and flavorful hints of barley and slight bread flavor? It's hard to tell, it has a very mild taste. Certainly not lacking in flavor but just a very quite taste. It's a shy beer...teehee. What's more, it really hit the spot after my bike ride to the cafe. A nice treat.

6 Brews!
