Look: Black with dark, tan, smooth head
Taste: Roasted malt with a strong and lingering black coffee flavor
Conclusion: This is a limited release from Lagunitas. It actually says on the label that they used dark coffee in the brew process. The kicker here is that this is a coffee stout with 8.3% alcohol.
This one is the perfect beer for the busy body coffee guzzler in all of us. My dad is an absolute coffee addict and I couldn't help but think he'd declare this the best brew in the world. I'm a sucker for dogs so I confess that this is the only thing that made me grab this beer but it turned out all right in the end. If you absolutely gotta stay awake to operate heavy machinery in the morning...have one of these! Or better yet stay home and drink.
