Look: Hazy amber color with thin head
Taste: Very fruity with taste of honey and a lot of barley
Conclusion: I first had this beer at a bar as a recommended beer from the barkeep. He said it was his favorite beer at the moment. I don’t think I would label this beer as a favorite at any moment. My brother bought me this brew because he liked the bottle; we were both let down by its contents. It was not too strong, but way too sweet for me to be able to put down more than one in a sitting. The sweetness just seemed to loiter on your tongue like people asking for money outside a store. You just cant shake it, and it makes sure you don’t ignore it.
Due to its sweetness and very mild taste, I fancy this beer to be liked by some non-beer drinking ladies, or those beer drinkers that like lambics the most.
With a name like Dead Guy, I imagined a beer that would knock me flat on my back. This one only managed to make me take a step back.
I give it a 6 out of 10
