Deschutes Brewery, Hop Trip

Look: Dirty Orange with a silky yellow head

Taste: Mild bitterness with fruit and hops

Conclusion: This brew smells fruity and sweet, but once you take a sip you'll realize you were fooled! But not in a bad way. There is a very mild bitterness initially that's followed by a faint and refreshing flavor of fruits and hops.

Take a look at the label. I think it's aptly captures the essence of this brew. It's extremely drinkable and has a very light mouthfeel. It's still 5.5% alcohol but it's just so dang refreshing. This one I could see being perfect for a hot summers day. Quiet and unassuming but wildly refreshing.

We agree on this one!

I picked this up along with Great Divide's Fresh Hop Pale Ale (http://www.greatdivide.com/thebeers/freshhop.htm) this weekend and had a little fresh hop beer tasting. The fruity/citrus from the hops was great and would have been even better if it hadn't been a chilly Colorado night.
