Shipyard Export Ale

Look: Golden brown body with a frothy white head.

Taste: There is an initial bite that rolls into some tasty spices. Finishes with a light tangy flavor.

Conclusion: I had this brew at a restaurant in Long Beach with a glazed salmon sandwich. I'd say this beer is perfect with any seafood. The spiciness of the beer is what set it apart, for me. I really like robust bite it had and it really is a great tasting ale. Aptly named too.

Shipyard Brewing Company is based out of Portland, Maine. I'd have to say they made the perfect brew for sitting by the ocean and enjoying some seafood. This was a great ale and one of the better I've had he pleasure of tasting.

6 Brews!
